Introducing Zeta! She's a gentle soul but quite sensitive at the moment so she's looking for an understanding and patient new family who'll give her time to settle in before she finds her Brave. Zeta will need to be started in a small 'launch' room as she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. Scratch posts/Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers to provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house, will be the ideal for Zeta. We reommend a patient and understanding adopter who can recognize that Zeta will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! We also recommend teens/older children who can read and understand basic cat body language and know when to give Zeta space. She'll need to go home with another social cat friend. Sweet Zeta was found with other cats and has shown to really shine when she has another calm social cat to help make her feel safe. She may also do well in a home with a calm social dog if the owners are able to monitor interactions. Some of her loves include gentle approaches, scratches behind the neck or shoulder (avoiding the face) and she enjoys kisses from other friendly cats too.
