Shadow

Shadow is a big, lanky lad who is sensitive and can be easily startled or overwhelmed in new environments or when meeting new people. He will need introductions to be taken slowly, allowing him to approach in his own time and build confidence at his own pace.
He is a very affectionate boy who enjoys leaning into you for attention and reassurance. When over-aroused he can become jumpy or mouthy, so ongoing work around calm behaviours and keeping all four paws on the floor will be important.
Shadow would thrive best in a calm, quiet home with structure and routine to help him feel safe and settled. Crate or mat training is recommended to give him a secure space to retreat to when he feels overwhelmed.
He loves playing with toys and is a smart boy who already knows sit, shake, and down. Shadow would be best suited to a home with calm older teens who can be involved in his continued training.
