Meet Maree 💕
Little Maree has already lived a lifetime in her short 8 months. This sweet tortie girl was heartbreakingly dumped overnight at the front of the pound — left alone, scared, and confined in a dog cage. She was skinny, matted, and it was painfully clear she had been nursing kittens… but her babies were not left with her. Just Maree. On her own. 💔
Despite such a rough start, Maree is nothing but love. She’s a gentle, affectionate soul who still believes people can be kind. Once she feels safe, she leans right into cuddles and affection, soaking up every bit of love she missed out on. She’s tiny (under 2kg!), still very much a baby herself, and yet she’s already shown incredible resilience.
Maree is a Domestic Medium Hair, tortie beauty, and an absolute darling. She’s looking for a calm, loving home where she can finally be spoiled the way she deserves — soft beds, full bowls, gentle pats, and someone who will promise her she’s safe forever.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
