About Baloo
Meet Baloo 🤍
Baloo’s story started in a place where the breeding of cats had completely spiralled out of control. Tiny kittens were everywhere, born into an endless cycle with far too many and never enough homes. Baloo was one of the lucky ones we were able to save as a tiny kitten before he became another forgotten cat growing up on that property.
Rescue can step in and save them, provide vet work, safety, food, warmth, and love, but when it comes time to find forever homes, that part depends on people willing to adopt. Rescue cannot continue without adopters opening their hearts and homes.
Baloo has now been waiting over 4 months for a family of his own and honestly, we cannot understand why.
He is beautiful, affectionate, playful, and full of personality.
Baloo is an adventurous boy who loves running around and exploring new places. He is a big fan of wrestling and playing with his siblings and absolutely loves his toys, especially chasing his ball around the house.
He adores attention and will happily follow you everywhere before climbing into your lap demanding pats once he is ready for a nap.
Baloo is still gaining confidence and can occasionally feel a little nervous around new people, but once he feels safe his sweet nature shines through.
After the start he had in life, we would love nothing more than to finally see Baloo get the happy ending he deserves 🐾

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
