Hi, I’m Yumi!

I’m an absolutely adorable 2-year-old blue moo girl with the sweetest face you have ever seen. I’m a gentle, loving and playful girl and I bring so much joy everywhere I go.

I absolutely love people and other dogs, and my favourite place to be is wherever they are! I love snuggling up with my humans and getting as close as possible to my canine friends. I’m currently in foster care with other greyhounds, and I adore them so much that I will do my best to share their beds - whether I’m welcome or not! I’m so loveable that I just know I’ll win them over eventually. I’m basically just a huge snuggle bug with lots of love to give.

I do have a neurological condition that affects my gait a little, and makes stairs a bit tricky, but it doesn’t dampen my spirit in the slightest: I still love my zoomies and I will welcome you home with the cutest little spins and tippy-taps! It’s guaranteed to make you smile.

I can be a little shy on my own, and alone time is stressful for me, so I’d do best in a home with another doggy friend or two. I’m also still building my confidence on walks, so I’m looking for a patient and understanding family who can help me grow into my bravest self. I do have one important quirk around food: I’m a very slow eater, and if I haven’t finished my meal, I can be protective of it. Because of that, I need to be given space while I eat so I can finish in peace.

What I can promise in return is sweetness, cuddles and loyal companionship. I’m a very special girl, and whoever welcomes me home is in for a life full of love.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
