Princess Snuggle Bum

Cha Cha is a delightful, confident, and exceptionally affectionate young cat who thrives on human companionship. With her charming personality and loving nature, she has quickly earned the nickname “Princess Snuggle Bum” from her foster carers.

She was surrendered to a veterinary clinic in Fitzroy and, thanks to their connection with our rescue, we were happy to welcome her into our care.

During her short stay at the clinic, she won over the entire nursing team with her friendly and outgoing nature. A health check confirmed she is in excellent condition.

From the moment she arrived in foster care, Cha Cha showed just how much she adores people. Unlike many cats who take time to settle, she immediately began exploring her new environment, claiming spaces as her own, and seeking out affection.

She loves to rub against your legs when you come home, be picked up for cuddles, sleep on your lap, and snuggle in bed to keep you warm at night. She is happiest when she is close to her humans and will happily follow you from room to room throughout the day.

While Cha Cha is incredibly loving and sociable with people, she does not enjoy the company of other cats. She has been tested in multiple foster homes and consistently prefers to be the only cat in the household. Once placed in a pet-free home, her sweet, sassy, and quirky personality truly shines.

Cha Cha has a bold, confident, and entertaining nature. She is full of character and will bring plenty of joy and amusement to her new family. However, because of her sassy side when annoyed and her habit of weaving between feet, she would not be suitable for a home with young children or elderly residents.

She would be an ideal companion for someone who works from home, is a university student, or generally spends a lot of time at home and can give her the attention and affection she craves. A quiet, adult-only household with no other pets would be the perfect fit.

Cha Cha is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for adoption.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
