About Luna-Rose
This gorgeous black beauty is Luna-Rose and she's on the lookout for her new forever home.
Beautiful Luna-Rose is sweet, sassy and incredibly loving, but only when she's in the mood. Any sort of affection is very much on her terms. But that just makes it even more magical on those occasions when she does decide to show you some love.
Luna-Rose was well loved by her previous owner but unfortunately they found themselves in a position where they could no longer care for her. After a painful breakup her owner decided it was finally time to do the travelling they had always wanted to do. Unfortunately Luna-Rose is not the type of cat that would handle life on the road, so they reached out to us for help finding her a new home.
She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
Luna-Rose does not enjoy change and will take some time to settle into her new home before her beautiful personality and affectionate side begins to shine through. When she first arrived in her foster home she was quite grumpy but has begun to relax with every day that passes and now likes to jump up on the couch and have a cuddle with her foster mum.
She has also decided that their foot stool is now her cat stool 😄
While this precious little soul does love people, once she gets to know them, she does not like other cats at all. She has lived with another cat previously but did not get along wit her foster sister. She clearly wanted all of her humans attention to herself.
But after the breakup, each of the cats went with a different person, and once Luna-Rose found herself as the only feline in the home she became a completely different cat. This little princess truly needs her very own kingdom to rule, so that she can have all of her human servants to herself.
Luna-Rose can be quite independent and likes to hang out and do her own thing then check in with you when she's in the mood for company. She had outdoor access in her previous home, with the freedom to come and go as she pleased, and enjoyed being able to lounge around in the sunshine during the day then come inside when she was ready for food and cuddles.
A home with outdoor access for this little lady would be ideal.
You can find an adorable video of Luna-Rose on our socials @urbanfelineaustralia
When she is in the mood for attention she can be incredibly loving. She loves to curl up next to you on the couch, will roll around in front of you looking adorable, and will sleep on the foot of your bed if you let her.
We would like to find her a nice quiet home with not a lot going on where she can kick back, relax and do as she pleases, then come have a cuddle when she's in the mood. She would be a great fit for a busy young professional who would like a feline companion who is low maintenance, independent and does not need a lot of attention.
Luna-Rose is approximately 7 years old and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause you can find it by searching for Urban Feline Australia.
Otherwise please check out our social media to learn a bit more about what we do.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
