Luna-Rose is a stunning black cat with the most wonderful personality upgrade!
While her previous owners described her as quite aloof and she was a little reserved when she first arrived in foster care, this gorgeous girl has completely blossomed. She’s now a true social butterfly who absolutely loves people!

These days, whenever her foster carer has friends or family over, Luna-Rose is front and center, strutting her stuff, soaking up all the attention, and looking utterly adorable while doing it. She’s discovered her smoochy, affectionate side and is making up for lost time with plenty of head bumps, purrs, and cuddles. She’s gone from “I’ll come to you when I feel like it” to “Hello humans, I’m here for the party!”

This playful, confident, and people-loving girl is a delight to be around. She still has that elegant, independent streak (she is a cat, after all), but she’s now happiest when she’s in the middle of the action, charming everyone in the room. She loves wand toys, rolling around like a little diva, and curling up for snuggles when the mood strikes.

Luna-Rose would be the perfect companion for a young single or couple who love to entertain and have people over regularly. She’ll happily greet your guests, work the room, and show off her social skills, she’s basically ready-made entertainment!

She strongly prefers to be the only pet in the home (she made that very clear in her last house). A home with safe outdoor access would be ideal, as she loves basking in the sunshine and patrolling her territory before coming back inside for cuddles and dinner.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
