Meet Luna-Rose.
They say the most exquisite roses have the sharpest thorns, and our gorgeous black panther, Luna-Rose, embodies her name in every single way. Beautiful and velvety one moment, confident and prickly the next, she is an absolute darling who knows exactly what she wants. She is looking for an appreciative human who doesn't just tolerate her spicy side, but actually adores the thorns as part of the total rose package!
When Luna-Rose decides to bloom, she is the ultimate showstopper and a true social butterfly. Whenever her foster carer has friends or family over, Luna-Rose is front and center, strutting her stuff like a host in a ballgown and soaking up every drop of attention. The moment company arrives, she magically transforms from "I'll come to you when I feel like it" to "Hello humans, I'm here for the party!" She loves working the room, greeting guests with head bumps and purrs, and showing off her fabulous energy.
When she isn't acting as ready-made entertainment for your visitors, she loves playing with wand toys, rolling around like a little diva, and curling up for cozy snuggles on the bed or sofa once she warms up to you. She also happens to be on her absolute best behavior whenever food is on the line! However, like any royal blossom, Luna-Rose demands respect for her boundaries. She thoroughly enjoys sweet pats on her head and the back of her neck, but she will quickly use a nip or swipe to remind you of her thorns if you attempt to stroke her anywhere else or if she feels overstimulated.
To thrive in her forever garden, Luna-Rose strongly prefers to be the only pet in the home, having made it crystal clear in her past that she wants to be the single rose in your courtyard. An ideal home for her would feature safe outdoor access, allowing her to bask in the warm sunshine and patrol her territory before returning indoors for cuddles and dinner.

She is currently staying with her amazing foster mum in Clayton, eager to meet the special someone who will cherish both her sweet petals and her playful thorns.

About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
