ABOUT
Meet Mardi (aka Little Potato). With her silver-tipped black coat, Miss Mardi is a gorgeous round little bundle of sweetness, sass, and smoochiness—complete with an irresistibly cute, Pumba‑like waddle.
She zooms around with endless enthusiasm trying to keep up with her slightly bigger feline foster sister, though she runs out of puff a little sooner and takes frequent mini‑naps to recharge. Mardi’s confidence and curiosity are blossoming every day. She adores her toys, especially her cat tunnel, chasing ping‑pong balls, and attempting ambitious climbs up her cat tree.
When it’s cuddle time, Mardi turns into a total snug bug. She seeks out her humans for cuddles and loves curling up on your chest or tucking herself under your chin. She gently pushes her little nose and head into your hand for big smoochy pats, and her purr engine gets louder by the day. She’s equally content finding a quiet nook for some peaceful downtime.
Never backwards in coming forwards when there is food around and becoming quite vocal about it too, Mardi has earned the nickname “little food goblin”. And despite her tiny stature, will confidently take on the feline matriarch of the house to determine who gets fed first, proudly claiming her title as the household “mini boss.”
Mardi is wonderful with her foster siblings—both the four‑legged feline kind and the two‑legged primary‑school‑aged kind. She loves energetic play with her kitten sister and is very respectful of the two resident adult cats, who find her endlessly entertaining. With gentle hands and patient play, she is also growing beautifully confident with her human siblings.
With her sweet‑but‑sassy personality and affectionate nature, Mardi would be a delightful addition to any cat‑loving family and would thrive with other friendly felines and/or school‑aged children as companions.
