Hi. I am Button, and I am the kind of boy who wants to be close to you.

I am sweet and sensitive and happiest when I am following you from room to room with my tail gently wagging. I like to keep an eye on my people. Not in a clingy way. Just enough to know where you are and whether you might be due for a cuddle.

I get along really well with other dogs and love a good play when it is on offer. I am respectful of boundaries and take my cues well, especially from older dogs who like their space. That said, I am also perfectly content as an only dog. I do not need a pack to feel safe. Your company is more than enough.

Cats are something I am still learning about. I am good with them, but I will need more interaction and gentle training to make sure everyone feels comfortable and understood.

I am learning to sit like the rest of us and making steady progress. I am very food-motivated, which makes training easy and fun. I also respond beautifully to praise. A kind word and a gentle pat go a very long way with me.

I sleep either outside or inside in a crate, and I settle well. I am good indoors and my toilet training is improving every day with consistency and routine.

I love soft toys and ropes, especially when there is a game of chase or tug involved. Playtime is fun, but it is the quiet moments that really matter to me.

I am great with kids and very polite by nature. I will still need reminders not to jump when I get excited, but my gentle temperament makes me eager to learn.

I adore meeting new people and soak up attention wherever I go. Vet visits are a highlight for me because they usually come with pats, kind voices, and extra love.
