At just over 2 1/2 years old this stunning mastiff x staffy mix is more than ready for her own family or person who will love her as unconditionally as she will love in return. And at around 28kg she is the perfect size!

Ruby is housetrained, loves the car and adores her humans. Nothing makes her happier than swimming - she loves water! She is also crate trained and has been working on recall and doing well.

With careful introduction to dogs she can play well with them. Definitely NO cats or pocket pets.

She was previously living in foster care with two energetic boys (9 1/2 and 13) and she loved playing hide and seek with them, they would hide under the bed covers and she would run and find them.

Snuggles on the couch with anyone around is one of her favourite things. She may be ok with someone who works as long as they give her a bit of love/walk before leaving home and lots of enrichment games to keep her busy but has previously had separation anxiety so may take a little time to settle and feel confident in her new home before being left for long hours.

Ruby is in foster care but had an opportunity to be in training kennels for 4 weeks so has had training in that time and walks well on the lead, has good recall, crate trained and will do anything for a treat :) She is a very clever girl therefore she must have a home with very secure fencing preferably front and back as has learned to open doors and head off for her next adventure! She has been able to scale 5' fences so preferably minimum 6 feet!

Ruby is a fan of Kongs stuffed with dry food and peanut butter and relishes cheese, chicken, and any tantalising morsel you might be eating so the perfect dog to train as very food motivated.

Being intelligent and quick to learn, she's familiar with various commands such as "sit," "drop," "with me," and many more.

Ruby loves her daily walks and would thrive in a home that offers her a mix of play time at home, walks, swimming (her favourite pastime of all) and endless cuddles!

This playful girl loves belly rubs and also adores cudding up next to her favorite person at night, seeking the comfort of closeness , but also is happily able to curl up in her bed next to you if that is what is required of her!

Ruby's potential is limitless with the right family willing to provide the love, guidance, and structure she craves and ongoing training as all dogs need. For those who appreciate a dog with a lot of love to give, she promises to be your best friend.
