Big Red is a beautiful, soft boy with a massive, happy purr and a friendly nature. He’s a gentle and easygoing kitten who loves playing and gets along wonderfully with other cats and foster kittens and settles in well with those around him.

When meeting new people, Big Red can take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, he gives you his whole heart. He enjoys being close to his people and will happily sleep on your bed or curl up beside you, content just to be near rather than always needing to be picked up.

Big Red is great with children of any age thanks to his calm and friendly temperament. He is litter trained, loves his food, and is confident and relaxed around other animals.

In summary, Big Red has a lovely, balanced personality — affectionate without being demanding, social without being overwhelming. Big Red would suit a home looking for a gentle companion who enjoys being close.

* If you already have pets in your home, a slow and gradual introduction is a must, to ensure your pets and your new kitten have the best chance at a successful integration

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.

When adopting a kitten under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
