Teddy has strong natural guarding instincts and takes her job seriously. She's not a fan of strangers and will always let you know when someone new arrives on the property with her impressive, booming bark. That said, Teddy does slowly warm up - and once trust is earned, she forms deep, meaningful bonds. During her time in the kennels, she has slowly built a lovely connection with her main handlers, showing just how loyal she can be to her people.

Teddy is looking for a home with Maremma-experienced humans (this is essential), a large property where she can stretch her legs and feel secure, and people who understand the importance of mental stimulation for a working dog mind. She will thrive when she has purpose, space, and calm, confident guidance.

In return, Teddy will offer quiet companionship, steadfast loyalty, and maybe even take on the role of guardian of your property - chickens included 🐓🤍. For the right home, Teddy will be a truly rewarding and deeply bonded companion.
