About Sarah
Sarah & Miguel are both less than 2years of age. They are very good friends and love to play and snooze together, as their photos show.
Sarah is a confident, sociable and affectionate girl. She loves to be stroked and brushed, but brushing turns into a game!! Helping to make the bed is another great game! Sarah is keen to snooze on her humans lap, and to sleep with her human at night. She’s a chatty girl, particularly at mealtime or if she’s lost sight of Miguel and needs help to find him. Sarah takes her role as Miguel’s emotional support cat very seriously.
Miguel is developing into an affectionate boy, although he can be timid at times. When is foster carer approaches Miguel she does so slowly and gently, no quick movements. Growing up in a multi-cat household means that he missed out on early human interaction. He is very savvy and has learnt from watching Sarah’s interaction with humans and has started to show trust. Miguel now enjoys chin or cheek scratches, even a tummy rub! He has come a long way since living within his foster carer & Sarah. Miguel even now joins Sarah on their foster carers bed at night! He loves his food and treats, so can be encouraged to interact with bribery! He has a range of chirruping sounds, he doesn't meow very often.
Sarah & Miguel day starts when their foster carer wakes up in the morning, they are on the bed with her, wearing looks of expectation with a very gentle reminder to their foster carer that breakfast should be served – but no yowling or other insensitive behaviour … … how courteous is that? They enjoy several minutes of smooching and stroking before hopping down to make their way to the kitchen. For games, they both like small soft toys that they can pick up and carry around and ping pong balls are equally fun as they skitter around. Miguel & Sarah enjoy using the various scratching posts and scratching boards around the house. Their day is spent with rounds of playtime, zoomie chasing each other, and naps in the sunny places around the house.
They are good company for each other, they don’t seem to be concerned about being left on their own, although they are happy when their human returns. They are both litter tray trained. Microchipped, Desexed and up to date with their vaccinations.
