About Odin
Odin is possibly the world's friendliest kitten. He loves everyone and everything. He is super confident, and will come and say hello to anyone who comes into his foster home.
He loves being around people and other cats (he hasn't met a dog yet but we reckon he'd be fine). He loves being around people so much that if you're in the house and you look down, there is a good chance he'll be right there. He sleeps in bed with you, and sits on you when he can. He's super cuddly!
He's also chatty. If he feels dinner is late, he will make sure you know about it. He'll make sure you're organised like that.
He loves playing too, and is a big fan of balls and dangly toys. He likes playing with the other foster cats in the house too.
Odin would suit a home with plenty going on to keep him entertained with people who would like a cat that loves lots of attention. He would be really sad if he was left on his own a lot, so a home where people are generally around, or there are other cats for him to be friends with would be ideal.
Medical notes
Odin is mostly blind in one eye as a result of conjunctivitis when he was a very small kitten (before he came to the rescue). The eye is cloudy and can sometimes get irritated. When this happens, treatment with Chlorsig or an eye wash clears it up very quickly, so it's not difficult to manage. The eye specialist at VSOS believes he should be OK with the eye remaining in place (ie. eye removal will not be necessary). He is totally worth the effort!
Because is also so light coloured, he should be an inside only cat to avoid skin cancer.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via

2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
