About Corby
Meet Corby! Corby came into care with his mum and four siblings and has grown into the sweetest little boy. As the only male in the litter, he proudly holds the title of most affectionate! Corby is a true people-person and loves to be wherever you are, soaking up attention and cuddles whenever he can.
He enjoys playful, rough-and-tumble games with his sisters and the resident dog, showing just how confident and social he is. Corby has been raised in a foster home with other cats and a dog and settled in quickly, getting along with the resident animals with ease. He has a special bond with the Dachshund, always found snuggled by his side! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal little companion, Corby is ready to win your heart! Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
