About Aggie
Aggie is an active Kelpie mix who’s ready to find her new family.
With her high drive, Aggie is looking for someone who can dedicate time and consistency to her ongoing training. She’s a smart girl who will thrive with the right guidance and structure.
While in care, Aggie has shown that she is not suitable to live with other animals. She struggles to settle around other dogs and, due to her high prey drive, is not suited to a home with smaller animals.
Aggie will need continued training and support. She is comfortable off lead in the yard and has a good recall in that environment, however once the lead goes on she tends to “pancake” and refuse to walk, this however is being worked on and slowly but surely she is understanding that it’s not that bad. This is something her future family will need to work through patiently.
Aggie’s positives:
Has learned how to settle in a crate
Good recall in the yard
Intelligent, driven and eager to learn with the right handler
Aggie is searching for a committed, understanding home willing to invest time, love and patience into helping her succeed. We know there’s an incredible dog hiding under all that fluff — she just needs the right person to unlock her full potential.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
