About Sage
Sage is a shy, sweet girl with a beautifully gentle heart. Life has felt a little overwhelming for her, and she's searching for a calm, understanding home where she can simply breathe and learn that the world isn't such a scary place. New environments, unfamiliar people, and loud noises can worry her deeply, so she's hoping to find adopters who will move at her pace, offering patience, kindness, and quiet reassurance.
Sage will need a few weeks to settle into her new home before venturing out on walks or into busier settings. But once she feels safe, her loving personality begins to shine through-especially when food is involved! Enrichment and positive, reward‑based training will help her build confidence and form a trusting bond with her new family.
Indoors, Sage has shown she can be left alone comfortably when given a crate or cosy space to retreat to. Having a designated "safe place" is essential for her, and she'll thrive as a peaceful indoor companion in a quiet household. She'll need secure 6ft+ fencing to help her feel protected, and a home with older teens who understand how to give her space. Sage would prefer to be the only dog so she can relax without pressure and truly settle.
Sage may be timid, but with the right family, she has so much love to give. She's just waiting for someone who sees past her fears and recognises the incredibly special girl she is-someone willing to offer the gentle world she's always deserved.
If you have a soft heart and a quiet home, Sage may be the one who finally makes it feel complete
