NOTE: You are unable to meet Penny until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Penny in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.

My best features:
• Loveable & super sweet
• Food motivated & attentive
• I can sit, shake hands & lay down/drop
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• I walk well on lead for a young doggo once settled but can be a little erratic & bouncy initially
• Exuberant & full of beans
• I love toys especially my ball

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I can be very bouncy when excited - further training with positive reinforcement should help this.
• When I first arrived at the shelter I was very shy, I have well & truly come out of my shell now but I can still become a little nervous & startle easily when I am in unfamiliar situations. - More exposure & socialization is recommended, I do appear to adjust quickly.
