About Aria
Meet Aria - a soulful pup who might just earn a "Breakthrough Artist" nomination with the many tricks she has up her sleeve. She may even sing her way into your heart if you let her. 🎶
The world can feel a little big and uncertain for Aria, so she's looking for a home that offers patience, comfort, and a predictable routine to help her feel safe and confident.
Aria has previously lived successfully with another dog, though the shelter environment can make meeting new dogs overwhelming for her. If she were to go home with a canine companion, it must be a friendly, calm dog of a similar large breed size who can act as a positive role model as she continues to build confidence. Aria is not suited to living with small dogs, cats, or pocket pets.
To help Aria grow into the confident dog she's meant to be, her new family must be prepared to commit to puppy school and ongoing obedience training. Continued positive-reinforcement training will be key in helping her navigate the world and strengthen her bond with her people.
At heart, Aria is a cuddle-lover who dreams of cozy evenings on the couch, quality time with her humans, and perhaps a little classical music playing in the background. She's ready to find a home where she can truly relax and let her gentle personality shine.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
