About Oscar
Oscar is a 5-month-old tabby and white Domestic Short Hair kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. While he can be a little timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his confident and playful nature to shine through once he feels comfortable.
Oscar absolutely loves playtime and has plenty of kitten energy to burn. His favourite toys are his wand toy and his squeaking bird toy, and he could happily spend hours chasing, pouncing and showing off his playful side. Because he enjoys such active play, we think Oscar would do wonderfully in a home with another young, playful cat who can match his energy and help keep him entertained.
Like many young kittens, Oscar can sometimes become a little overstimulated during play and may give a playful nip, which is another reason we feel a feline friend would suit him well.
When playtime is over, Oscar shows his softer side. He is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up in your arms or settling on your lap for a well-earned cuddle and nap.
Oscar had a rough start to life. He was found as a very young kitten weaving between cars on the Great Western Highway. Thankfully, a kind member of the public rescued him, cared for him with lots of love, and treated a skin condition he was suffering from. Unfortunately, they were unable to keep him long-term, so Oscar is now searching for the forever family he truly deserves.
With the right home, plenty of playtime, and lots of love, Oscar will make a wonderful and entertaining companion. 🐾
Medical notes
