About Bea
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
A little dynamo who loves exploring all the nooks and crannies of her foster home, Bea always seems to have people to see and places to be!
She's far more talkative than her sister McMuffin - and yes, maybe a bit of a drama queen. If you pick her up when she’s mid-play, she often throws her head back and lets out her tiny squeaky scream as if she’s been abducted by an alien!
But while you're still shaking your head at her adorable antics, you'll suddenly notice her on the sofa - conked out in dreamland :) She definitely has only two modes: Energizer Bunny and Couch Potato!
When she's feeling chill, Bea likes to supervise you through sleepy eyes as you go about your household tasks. You may even find her parked up in front of the TV, getting stuck into her favourite show! She's partial to curling up happily on your chest too, for a nice neck rub and snooze.
Like all Maggie’s pets, Bea is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... won't be too loud or hectic, while providing me with plenty of fun stuff to do and look at! As I get older, I reckon I'll enjoy hanging out in windows watching the world go by, or perching high in a cat tree passing judgement on all the family goings-on.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm equal parts crazy kitten and nap queen! After big bursts of activity, I like to find a cosy spot and laze around for hours.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I definitely cherish my quiet time, so an adults-only home or one with relaxed older children (ideally 8+) would suit me best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've had a pleasant time with other cats in foster care, though I'm a bit shy to start with, so I tend to make friends slowly. It's all good once I get over myself, though!
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
