About Greta
Meet Greta ❤️
Greta is a sweet, playful lady who adores her feline friends. She’s come a long way in learning to trust humans, and with time and bonding with someone she trusts, Greta has proven she can enjoy love, pats, and gentle touch. Above all, Greta thrives in the company of other cats.
About Greta:
Greta had a rough start and came to us as a stray. It took a long time for her to trust humans, but she has made incredible progress with one very dedicated staff member (who, full disclosure, is completely obsessed with her!). Over time, Greta showed she preferred playtime over treats in her one on one sessions, revealing her playful, kitten-like side with toys. Once she began to open up, we introduced her to other cats, and she was over the moon. Greta feels safest and happiest around feline company, which helps her continue to grow in confidence. Greta loves to come out to explore, say hi to all the cats in her area, and we often catch her playing happily with her toys.
She is still learning to appreciate human touch and may give off harmless grumbles when she’s not comfortable, but that’s just her way of saying “not yet.” With patience, she’s gradually learning to enjoy gentle interaction with new people, and she continues to improve every day. Being around confident cats who get plenty of human love has really helped build her confidence.
Greta’s ideal home:
• Must go to a home with other cats friends
• Humans with time and patience (interactions may be limited at first)
• Indoor-only home
• Plenty of toys and treats (temptations are her favourite!)
• Quiet but confident environment where she can explore at her own pace and have fun
When meeting Greta, she may be unsure or scared at first, so please be prepared for gentle, patient introductions — interactions may be limited initially.
If you’re considering meeting Greta, please book a time, and we will organise the meet-and-greet with her most trusted humans.
