About Chestnut
Meet Chestnut, a very handsome ginger tabby and white boy with the softest eyes and an even softer heart. This sensitive sweetheart is feeling overwhelmed in the shelter environment-it's a big, busy place, and all the unfamiliar sounds and smells can be scary for him. Because of that, he may seem extra shy when you first meet him. But in a calm, quiet home, Chestnut truly begins to blossom and show his real self.
Chestnut is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. He'll do best with someone gentle and kind, who is happy to let him set the pace as he settles in. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines through in tender looks, slow blinks, and quiet companionship by your side.
He absolutely LOVES his food-especially creamy treats and tuna-and the way to his heart is definitely through snacks! He also enjoys batting around toys and having little play sessions when he's feeling comfortable.
Chestnut isn't demanding; he simply appreciates consistency, kindness, and understanding. In return for safety and love, he promises a lifetime of soft affection and devoted companionship. 🧡🐾
