About Walnut Wolf
Meet Walnut - a gentle soul longing for the safety and love he's never truly known.
Life hasn't been kind to Walnut. This sweet adult boy has spent far too long fending for himself, learning to survive the hard way on the streets instead of experiencing the comfort, warmth, and security of an indoor home. It's clear he hasn't yet discovered what a good life can feel like - but he's ready to try, and he's hoping someone patient and kind will help him get there.
Because he has never had a family of his own, Walnut can become a little worried by sudden movements or unfamiliar situations. When he feels unsure, he'll quietly retreat to his safe hiding spot, waiting for the world to feel gentle again. This sensitivity isn't a flaw - it's simply the story of a boy who hasn't been shown enough kindness yet.
To help him settle in, we strongly recommend starting Walnut in a small launch room where he can slowly get used to the sounds, smells, and routines of his new home. Providing cat trees, scratch posts, shelves, and - his favourite - cardboard boxes will give him plenty of choices for safe hideaways or playful exploration as his confidence grows.
Walnut will likely thrive in a calm home, ideally with older children who can easily read his body language and give him the space and understanding he needs. With time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Walnut will show his soft, smoochy side - because under all that worry is a truly affectionate boy just waiting to feel safe enough to love.
If you want to win this sweet boy's trust, food is the key - especially chicken, which is guaranteed to get his attention and help build your bond.
Walnut has survived the hardest chapters of his life. Now he deserves the chance to write new ones - filled with warmth, safety, and the quiet joy of belonging.
If you believe you can offer Walnut the steady, loving home he's been waiting for, please apply. He's so ready to finally come home
