Meet Zeke, a handsome and spirited German Shepherd with a heart full of love and loyalty. If you're in search of a companion who will protect and adore your family, Zeke may just be your perfect match. With his striking features and energetic personality, he is both a magnificent presence and a devoted best friend.
Born in October 2024, Zeke is still young, brimming with energy and enthusiasm for life. His protective nature makes him an excellent guardian for your home, while his friendly demeanor with children proves him to be a gentle giant. Zeke’s ideal day includes engaging in vigorous play and spending quality time outdoors, where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the fresh air. He thrives in an environment with a standard 2-meter timber fence, ensuring his safety as he explores.
He has been vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, and wormed, ensuring he is healthy and ready for his next adventure. Zeke is selective with canine companions, so while he might enjoy a well-matched dog buddy, he would also be content as an only pet. He is not cat-friendly, so a home without feline residents would be best.
Zeke resides in D'Aguilar and is eagerly awaiting a family who appreciates his blend of playfulness and protection. At 20kgs, he is a manageable size for most households, and his stunning appearance is matched only by his devotion to those he loves.
If you're ready to welcome an energetic, loyal, and protective companion into your life, Zeke is eager to meet you! The adoption fee is $495, which covers the extensive care he has received. Zeke is ready to provide a lifetime of love and companionship — all he needs now is a family to call his own.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
