About Professor
A Friendly Professor Looking For His Forever Campus!
Meet Professor, the beagle with charm, confidence, and a heart big enough for everyone he meets. He’s an easygoing, sociable boy who lights up around people and happily seeks out attention. Whether it’s gentle pats, cuddles, or a quick check‑over, he’s completely comfortable with handling and touch. If you’re looking for a friendly companion who greets the world with enthusiasm and warmth, Professor is ready to impress.
This cheerful lad is wonderfully dog‑social and would be very happy living alongside another friendly canine. He’s polite, engaging, and enjoys the company of his four‑legged peers. At the shelter he’s 99% house‑trained, and with the consistency of a home environment, he’s expected to become fully reliable very quickly. He’s a bright boy with a steady temperament, making him a lovely fit for a household that appreciates the beagle personality.
Out on walks, Professor is a delight. He moves nicely on the lead, isn’t overly pully, and doesn’t get too carried away following his nose, quite impressive for a beagle. He enjoys exploring but does so with a calm, manageable pace. Families with prior beagle experience are preferred, simply because they’ll understand his natural curiosity and love of adventure.
Professor would suit homes with children aged 5 and up, and in families familiar with the breed, he could potentially live with younger, well‑mannered kids. He’s not been vocal at the shelter, which is a pleasant surprise for a beagle, though of course every dog finds their voice in a home. If you’re searching for a friendly, confident, people‑loving companion with classic beagle charm, Professor is ready to join your family and graduate into his forever home.
