About Sweetpea
Meet Sweetpea, an irresistibly adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix puppy born on November 8, 2025. With eyes that could melt even the coldest heart, Sweetpea is a bundle of joy, endlessly seeking love and affection. Her days are filled with playful antics and the eagerness to be the recipient of as many cuddles as you can give.
Sweetpea is in the prime of her puppyhood, and with her vibrant spirit, she's ready to bring endless happiness to her new family. She gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and would thrive in a household where she has a canine companion to share in her adventures. Though she hasn't been introduced to cats yet, her gentle nature suggests she could adapt well when properly introduced.
Sweetpea has all the makings of a cherished family friend. Her social and loving disposition suits families who can offer her plenty of attention and playtime. This little sweetheart looks forward to being part of a loving home where she can grow, explore, and create cherished memories with her new family members. With Sweetpea, you're not only welcoming a pet into your home but a loyal friend who will fill your life with laughter and love.
Medical notes
Sweetpea has bilateral Grade 2 luxating patella's, worse in right hind leg.
This means - Both of her kneecaps can move out of place a little.
Its mild to moderate (Grade 2).
The right back leg is slightly worse than the left.
Her kneecaps usually sit where they should.
They can slip out, but they go back into place on their own.
They can also be gently moved back without force.
This is likely because she has shallow knee groves, which is common in small breeds.
This will require regular monitoring as sweet pea grows.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
