About Maple
Maple is a quiet sweet girl who is happy just to chill and watch the world go by. When her sisters are being too rowdy, she likes to remove herself from the chaos and have a snuggle next to her foster carer. Rough play just isn't her thing.
She likes it when it's quiet and loves sitting on the windowsill, soaking up the sun and watching the birds. She doesn't feel the need to explore the house. She's happy with her favourite spots - so we think she'd be happy in a small apartment.
She has super long legs and a long long tail that can curl up like a piggy tail. She's going to be a very loooong cat when she's big. But for now she's a little kitten on stilts!
If you've got the sort of quiet home that Maple would like, even if it's small, then Maple is the kitten for you!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
