If you’re looking for a cat with a big personality, a bit of "attitude," and a lot of love, Solar is ready to shine in your home. After being a superstar mama to her litter of kittens, she’s officially retired from motherhood and is looking for a kingdom of her own to rule.

Solar is a social butterfly who knows exactly what she wants. She’s not afraid to be a little judgmental or vocal when she feels her attention levels are running low! She’s the ultimate "velcro cat" who won’t leave your side, come rain or shine, making her the most loyal companion you could ask for.

Solar takes her security duties very seriously. You can usually find her:
-Sun-Bathing: Living up to her name in the brightest patch of light she can find.
-On Lookout: Perched on high vantage points to keep an eye on her "subjects."

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
