Alfonso has done quite a bit of growing up since his early days as a kitten, but he has never lost that unique, observant nature that makes him so special. He’s traded in his "apprentice" status for the role of a loyal, seasoned companion.

Alfonso is always ready for a formal occasion. He still sports his signature white bowtie marking, which has only grown more striking with age. Combined with his wide, expressive eyes, he has a look that says, "I’ve seen a lot, I understand it all, and I definitely still deserve a treat."

While he’s no longer the tiny shadow he once was, Alfonso takes his role as your personal confidant very seriously. He has perfected the art of being present without being underfoot—mostly.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
