About Eddie & Beryl
Eddie and Beryl are a bonded sibling pair available for adoption in Oakhampton Heights (Hunter Region, New South Wales).
Raised together since kittenhood, Eddie and Beryl share a close and easy connection. They move through their days side by side — sometimes chasing, sometimes chatting, and often returning to curl up together for a quiet nap.
Their rehoming comes with great care and love, and they are hoping to find a home where they can continue life together.
A little about Eddie & Beryl:
🐾 Devoted bonded siblings
🐾 Affectionate and people-oriented companions
🐾 Confident Eddie balanced by gentle Beryl
🐾 Suit calm to moderately active households
🐾 Enjoy outdoor access and cosy indoor time
Eddie is the cheerful extrovert of the pair. Friendly and confident, he introduces himself quickly with enthusiastic purrs, head rubs and the occasional chat.
He loves being involved in daily life and will happily follow his guardian from room to room to see what’s happening. Food, cuddles and a soft place to sleep are all high on his list of favourite things.
Beryl brings a softer energy to the pair. Quiet, thoughtful and deeply loyal, she prefers to take a little time getting to know new people.
Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature shines. She enjoys gentle back rubs, cosy naps on blankets and quiet moments beside her favourite people.
Together they create a lovely balance — Eddie bringing playful curiosity, and Beryl offering calm companionship.
Their days follow a relaxed rhythm. Mornings often begin with breakfast outside, followed by sun-soaked naps and gentle exploration.
Later in the day they drift in and out of the house, enjoying playtime and quiet companionship before settling indoors for dinner and an evening on the couch.
At night they often sleep side by side, content in each other’s company.
Eddie and Beryl would flourish in a calm to moderately active household. Families with older children or older guardians could suit them well.
They enjoy having outdoor access, and a home that allows them to safely spend time outdoors would make them happiest.
They have not lived with dogs, so a dog-free home would be ideal.
Both cats are in excellent health and have recently had a veterinary check, including dental care, so their health and routine care are fully up to date.
Life with Eddie and Beryl often feels warm and companionable.
Mornings might begin with curious greetings and breakfast supervision.
Afternoons may include sunlit naps or playful moments together.
Evenings often end with the pair curled nearby on the couch before heading off to sleep side by side.
For guardians who appreciate the special connection of a bonded pair, Eddie and Beryl could bring twice the companionship and a beautifully balanced kind of love into everyday life.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
