Meet Dory 💕
If you’ve ever wished for a cat who believes personal space is a myth, congratulations, Dory is your girl.
Dory is the sweetest, most affectionate pick-me princess you will ever meet. This girl doesn’t just want cuddles… she wants to be inside your soul. Under your chin, in your arms, pressed against your face, if there’s a human nearby, Dory is ON them. Expect relentless head boops, constant purring, and the kind of affection that makes you laugh and cry at the same time.
She thrives on love and attention and will happily remind you that she should be your number one priority at all times. Watching TV? She’s there. On your phone? Rude, look at her instead. Trying to sleep? Perfect, she’ll glue herself to you.
Playtime is just as entertaining, Dory has zero shame and will absolutely steal any toy another cat is playing with. Why? Because it should obviously be hers. Confidence? Astronomical. Charm? Lethal.
Dory is the ultimate cuddle bug, best friend, and emotional support shadow. If you want a cat who will adore you with her whole heart (and body), Dory will choose you every single time. 💖🐾

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
