About Patch
Meet Patch, a handsome and smart stumpy tail cattle dog mix.
Patch is a typical working breed dog who must have room to run and ongoing learning and activity. He will not be suitable for leaving in a suburban backyard with just a walk each day.
Our dream home for Patch:
Patch is looking for an active home where he’s treated as part of the family and included in daily life. He’ll thrive with someone who enjoys working dogs, values routine, and is committed to providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
A bit about Patch:
Patch is a smart, social boy who loves people and adores kids. He’s dog-social, attends daycare, and enjoys being around other dogs. Patch loves being involved in whatever his people are doing and truly shines when he feels guided and included.
Some of his training & behaviour:
Patch is very trainable and already knows a stack of tricks including sit, stay, down, middle and beg, with more on the way. He thrives with leadership, structure and clear expectations and will do best with an adopter who enjoys ongoing training and consistency. Patch responds well to guidance and routine and is happiest when he knows the rules and what’s expected of him.
How about other animals:
Patch is dog-social and enjoys daycare. He has been exposed to cats in foster care but would prefer a home without them.
The ideal adopter:
An active, confident owner who understands working breeds and is committed to continuing Patch’s training and providing clear boundaries. Patch will suit someone who enjoys building a strong partnership with their dog through leadership, routine and engagement.
