About Fatoush
Meet Fatoush (aka Tooshie)
Fatoush — affectionately known as Tooshie — is a full-time cuddle monster and professional shadow in dog form. If you’re sitting, he’s on you. If you’re standing, he’s next to you. If you move rooms… he’s already there. He truly just wants to be wherever his people are, soaking up love and giving it straight back tenfold.
When left home alone, Tooshie may have a brief little cry (the classic pug protest), but he adapts quickly and soon settles in for a solid snooze. Once comfortable, he’s a champion napper and takes his rest very seriously.
Very Important Pug Things
Fatoush is a textbook pug. He’s a constant lap warmer, complete with soft snorts and the occasional snore. Comfort is his love language, and personal space is purely optional. You’ll often find him perched on the back of the sofa, resting his head on your shoulder like a tiny, wrinkly parrot.
As with all pugs, he’ll do best in a home mindful of temperature, avoiding the hot sun, and keeping walks sensible and sniff-focused rather than endurance based. Air conditioning at home is a must, a pug must have their creature comforts.
Energy Level
Fatoush is very snoozy by nature, but don’t be fooled — when the lead comes out, the excitement is real. He enjoys his walks, park time, and is now discovering the joy of toys, proudly picking them up and doing small, delightful zoomies.
He’s the perfect mix of couch potato and briefly enthusiastic party animal.
Ideal Home
Fatoush’s ideal home is a peaceful one, with someone who will love him as much as he has love to give (which is a lot). He would suit someone who doesn’t mind:
- A dog permanently in their personal space
- A warm lap at all times
- Gentle snoring as background ambience
If you’re looking for a dog with boundaries… Fatoush is not your guy. If you’re looking for devotion, you’ve found it.
Children
Fatoush is fine with children but is not overly energetic. He would suit kids who want a gentle, affectionate dog rather than one who wants constant chasing and high-energy play.
Other Dogs & Cats
Fatoush is good with other dogs and enjoys saying hello. He may have a very quick play and then happily carry on and mind his own business. Polite, social, and easygoing. He has not been tested with cats.
Tooshie is the kind of dog who turns a house into a home — warm, loving, and always within arm’s reach. If you’re ready for a permanent lap warmer with a snore soundtrack, Tooshie is ready to move in 🐾💤

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
