This handsome tabby boy is the full package: brave explorer, expert toy hunter, professional cuddle pirate, and certified captain of chaos. Rudder is always the first mate on the scene when there’s an adventure brewing, tail held high like a little striped flag as he charts a course through every cupboard, cat tunnel, and mysterious cardboard box in sight.
Playtime is where Rudder truly earns his sea legs. Whether he’s chasing toys, wrestling with his sisters, or launching a full-speed zoomie attack across the living room, this boy brings enough energy to power an entire pirate ship. He loves a challenge and takes great pride in capturing his “treasure,” especially if it squeaks, rattles, or can be dramatically carried away in triumph. 🪙
But every fearless captain needs time to dock for the evening. Once Rudder has sailed through the day’s adventures, he happily drops anchor beside his people for cuddles, naps, and well-earned relaxation. Beneath all that swashbuckling confidence is an affectionate little sweetheart who loves being close to his crew.
Rudder’s friendly, playful nature makes him a fantastic companion, and his easygoing attitude means he gets along wonderfully with other kittens too. He’s the kind of cat who turns every day into a grand adventure with a side of laughter.

Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
