Say hello to this adorable Staffy x Jack Russell Terrier!

Apache is a 1 year and 7 month old Staffy with a serious case of Jack Russell energy packed into every muscle. He's bouncy, bright, and always ready for his next adventure, whether that's playtime, training, or zooming around the yard like he's got somewhere very important to be.

This fun loving lad is still learning about the world and will benefit from ongoing training and confidence building, but he's a clever cookie who's keen to please. Apache is very food motivated (treats = instant focus), already knows how to sit, and absolutely lives for rope toys, playtime is one of his favourite ways to play and bond.

Apache is looking for a quiet, low traffic home as calm surroundings help him relax and build confidence. He'll do best with adopters who are happy to go at his pace and help him grow braver through gentle confidence building and positive training. He can get a little anxious when left alone, so a home where someone is around most of the time, or willing to work gradually on independence, would be ideal.

Because he's young and excitable, Apache can jump up when saying hello, so he's best suited to a home with secondary school aged children, or younger dog savvy kids who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs. Apache may be able to go home with another dog, but just like people, he would like to meet them first to see if the vibes are right! With the right match and a calm introduction, a canine companion could be a great fit.
