About Kimbo
Meet Jimbo and Kimbo - two ginger tabby brothers bursting with classic kitten energy.
These little dynamos live life in full turbo mode, following the sacred routine of all great kittens: run, eat, sleep, climb absolutely everything, and repeat.
Jimbo and Kimbo are excitable, curious, and ready to turn every corner into an adventure. Whether it's launching into zoomies, testing their climbing "skills," or flopping into a power nap like nothing ever happened, they do everything with enthusiasm.
While they share that signature ginger firecracker spirit, they're each growing into their own personalities - and watching who they become is half the fun.
If you're ready for a lively little companion who brings entertainment, joy, and the occasional acrobatic moment, Jimbo or Kimbo might just be your new favourite whirlwind.
To book a meet and greet with Jimbo or Kimbo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
