About Toby
Meet Toby!
3‑year‑old Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy
Toby is the full package: charm, sweetness, playfulness, and a whole lot of heart. He arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own, and his previous owners described him as "happy, confident & energetic, but also happy to be lazy & quiet." In other words-he's the perfect balance of fun and chill
Personality
- A bright, cheerful boy who loves being part of the action
- Equally content to curl up and relax with his people
- Great with children and would suit a home with dog‑savvy, respectful kids.
Play & Social Life
- Toby *loves* playing soccer-he's a real little athlete when the ball comes out
- Previously enjoyed playtime with the neighbour's dog
- Has several dog friends at the shelter and walks beautifully alongside them
- Walks wonderfully on his harness and absolutely thrives on his daily outings
Health & Lifestyle
Toby is carrying a little extra padding at the moment, but with:
- A sensible diet
- Portion control
- Regular exercise
...he'll be back to his trim, fit, tail‑wagging best in no time
Ideal Home
Toby is used to having people around and would love a home where he's welcomed indoors as part of the family. He's:
- Toilet trained
- Polite and well‑mannered
- Affectionate and happiest when included in daily life
If you're looking for a loyal companion who brings joy, playfulness, and a whole lot of love, Toby might just be your perfect match.
