About Plato
Plato is a young smoochy boy who's full of life. Just like Harry Potter, he has an adorable 'lightning' mark in his forehead fur and is eager to experience the full comfort and love of a home with a family who loves him.
Plato is a relatively confident boy who is very affectionate - he will just lap up any pats and cuddles that are on offer, kissing your chin gently, and is sometimes so eager for a cuddle that his front paws leave the floor to get closer to you (cute and rather gentle, but also something he needs to work on!) In saying that, if you're sitting down he just calmly and gently nuzzles in for some snuggles.
Plato could adapt to being the only dog in the house or having a doggy sibling. He did arrive with another boy we assume is his brother, who he's a complete doofus with.
Since he's still a big puppy he's jumpy and silly when greeting you, and so for that reason we'd suggest kids 10+ years and a home without elderly people or those with reduced mobility.
His new family will need to be mindful that he hasn't had any formal training before and that he will take some time to settle into home life, including busy environments. He can be a bit shy around men but nothing that can't be overcome. He's working on his leash skills too, but as that was new to him, it's still a work in progress.
Since he still has some growing to do, he will be quite tall once fully grown and his curly oodle-like coat will need regular grooming to keep under control.
Please note that while he resembles an oodle of some kind (possibly mixed with a sheep dog), we don't know his breed mix nor can we say that he's suitable for people with allergies.
Please enquire to arrange a meet and greet with Plato at Helensburgh NSW.

Adoption details
The first step towards adoption is to complete our simple adoption/enquiry form so we can learn more about you and your lifestyle and see if that's a good fit for the pet you have in mind.
Completing the form does not oblige you to proceed any further if you don't wish to.
From there, we can arrange a meet and greet and if satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the founder of the rescue group.
