Introducing Mary, a beautiful two-year-old domestic medium long-haired cat with a heart full of love and a nurturing spirit. Having dedicated herself as a devoted mother to three adorable kittens, Mary is now ready to receive the affection she has so selflessly given.
Mary's friendly and sweet temperament make her an easy companion to adore. Whether it's lounging by your side or following you around the home, her presence is a comforting one. She's quite responsive when her name is called, delighting in the attention and gentle pats from her humans.

As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash bank transfer or Pay ID.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
