Maggie is a beautiful, sweet-natured 2-year-old Kelpie X with a heart of pure gold. She’s happy, affectionate, clever, willing, obedient, and wonderfully easy-going. Maggie adores other dogs and is super keen to play, but she’s also emotionally intelligent—she can “read the room” and will happily back off and do her own thing if her canine buddies aren’t in the mood. She is medium in size and walks well on a lead, making outings and daily walks a pleasure. From one of our vollies: “Maggie is a snuggle bug who loves people. She doesn’t show much interest in toys—she would rather lay in your lap and get cuddles and kisses."

🏡 Ideal forever home
Maggie would thrive in a loving home where she’s treated as part of the family and included in daily life. She’d be delighted to have a friendly doggy companion to hang out and play with, but she could also suit a home as an only dog, as long as she gets plenty of human company, affection, and enrichment. 📖 Rescue story
Maggie came into care from Taree Pound, having recently had puppies before arriving with us. Despite everything she’s been through, she has remained incredibly gentle, trusting, and loving. She’s now safe, cherished, and ready for the next chapter of her life—a forever home where she will finally be the one being doted on. Maggie has blossomed in care, showing us just how special she is, and we can’t wait to see her adored by her very own family.
