Rowena enjoys high energy playtimes, zooming about the room, running and pouncing, and will happily find anything to play with. And good luck interrupting her zoomies until she's done! This is her "me" time.
Rowena is quite talkative too, as you'll notice when she's following you about. She will often chirp as she plays or runs around, and will confidently let you know when she wants something too.
As for Rowena's snuggly side, she'll cuddle up next to you at night and doesn't mind sharing your blanket too. In the morning, she'll wake you with lots of face nuzzles until she has your attention. She's a busy little character who's often on the go during her waking hours, so cuddles throughout the day may well be pretty brief while Rowena is still a young kitten. She does however also have times when she's ready to relax and then will to lay next to you. She also likes to find herself a cosy spot and steal away for a quiet nap.
Rowena can be picked up and held, but she will let you know when she's had enough cuddles and wants to get back to playing. It's important to recognise her cues to be placed down, otherwise in her excitement she may use her hind paws and claws while jumping down. Given this, a home without small children might suit her best.
Rowena has been slowly introduced to the resident cat in her foster home with short play sessions together. Rowena is still learning how to play gently, so could suit another young kitten or a tolerant older cat, with a little time to get used to one another. She hasn't met any dogs.
Rowena is a little sweetie who is full of character and has the potential to adapt to either a quiet, single person or a family home with older children who can appreciate her independent spirit.
If pretty Rowena has caught your eye, we'd love to hear from you!
* If you already have pets in your home, a slow and gradual introduction is a must, to ensure your pets and your new kitten have the best chance at a successful integration

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
