Roxy’s personality is as dynamic as her breed mix, marked by both intelligence and sensitivity. She's a whirlwind of affection at home, deeply bonded to her people, and always eager to play or join you for car rides. Her adventurous side comes alive during a game of fetch or while she’s busy with squeaky toys. Roxy thrives with a routine that includes plenty of exercise and mental enrichment, essential for curbing her natural working-breed tendencies like mild digging or chewing when under-stimulated. Her natural inclination to leap high means that secure, 1.6-meter fencing is a must for her new home.

Though Roxy has had a tough start in life, her sweet and loving nature has emerged, revealing a dog who values trust and builds deep connections once she feels safe. She is most comfortable as an only pet, where she can bask in the attention and love of her human companions. While she's not suited for a home with young children or other pets, older (12+ years), dog-savvy children may be a good fit for her energy and temperament.
