Stormy is a charming 3 year old male pigeon looking for a forever home!

From his fosterer:

“Stormy comes from a loving re-homing situation, where sadly, his owner was no longer able to care for him. He has been raised by humans since he was a wee little squeaker.

He loves to follow you around and see what you’re up to and when he’s calling you, he loves to be petted, especially when he’s in his little cardboard nest box on top of the bookshelf. When he’s in a cuddly mood, he likes getting help with the pin feathers on his head.

Although he does not appreciate being handled, he will tolerate it, and with a little incentive (flaxseeds/linseeds or his plushie girlfriend) he will happily fly over to you.

Stormy’s quite the flirt so I think he would love to have a pigeon girlfriend. At the same time, he seems quite happy being the man of the house, given he gets enough attention from you.

Likes: feet, being petted, sitting in his nest box, play fighting with your hand, bathing in the kitchen sink (when he hears you washing the dishes)

Dislikes: being handled for too long, being taken out of his cardboard nest box when its bedtime”

Stormy is an imprinted male pigeon who may have different behaviours to a pigeon-raised bird. They make amazing companions to someone who is home a lot and can understand their quirks! (They really like feet😍) Please reach out to discuss more about imprinted birds.
