Crumpet

Meet Crumpet, a curious young pigeon with a gentle, observant nature who is looking for her forever home.

Crumpet had a rough start to life. At only two weeks old, she and her brother were thrown from a roof during the installation of anti-bird spikes. Thankfully, the neighbours alerted us, and Crumpet got a second chance at life!

Crumpet is comfortable around people, with a calm, peaceful presence. She enjoys being part of the household, quietly watching the action. She's especially fond of walking across keyboards, contributing her own important thoughts to your work emails.

At around 4 months old, Crumpet is currently in her teenage phase and likes her independence (don't tell her what to do, mum!) However, as she matures, Crumpet is likely to become much more affectionate. She already wears pigeon pants and will happily eat from your hand.

While we say 'she', Crumpet is too young to be 100% certain of sex. We suspect she is female based on her behaviour, but DNA sexing can be arranged prior to adoption at cost ($30).
