About Potato
*In foster care in Woollahra, Sydney*
Potato is very much of the 'baked' persuasion - soft, warm and SO comforting! He’s also a massive smooch, meowing at his foster carer's feet for pats when she's working and purring loudly to show his appreciation :)
This gorgeous kitten can be a cheeky chappy too, creating adorable chaos on the daily with his brother Alfie. His favourite activity is trying to catch flies, and he chatters around the house trying to chase them down - but unfortunately he's yet to be successful!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Potato is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be a reasonably quiet one, where I can enjoy my couch potato lifestyle but also have plenty of playtime. I love to be near my special humans whenever possible too, often meowing to jump up for a cuddle, so hopefully you'll love snuggles as much as I do!
A home with older kids (8+) who'll let me relax in peace when I need it might be nice, otherwise an adults-only home would suit me down to the ground.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a typical kitten, waking up early to explore my kingdom with my brother before finding a cosy place to snooze and recharge!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think I’d be well-suited to children aged 8+ who'll respect my boundaries and play gently with me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I loooove my brother Alfie and we adore hanging out together, so I think I’d be good with other cats as long as we're carefully introduced.
Not sure about dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
