About Alfie
*In foster care in Woollahra, Sydney*
Alfie is a ball of joy! The leader of kitten adventures in his foster home, he's always the first to run out of his bedroom in the morning to start a new day of fun and games.
He's obsessed with his favourite toy (a little red ball) and can play with it for hours, moving it around the house before it finally gets hidden while he waits for his next playtime with it.
This curious boy is also supremely confident, trotting over to greet new visitors with a sniff and a lick! He’s not shy to let you know when he’s hungry or wants a cuddle either, and loves nothing more than napping on your chest or his new favourite place - on the laptop keyboard :)
Like all Maggie’s pets, Alfie is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would be with humans who'll play with me and join me on my adventures! Though I haven’t met any kids yet, I think we could make it work if they're able to give me space when I need it. An all-adults home that enjoys a bundle of energy would also be perfect for me!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'd say I have the perfect mix - with lots of playful bursts of activity followed by long naps. I enjoys my solo time too, and often take myself off to a quiet place to nap. But when I want cuddles, I like to huddle in right behind your knees and get cosy!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm playful and rambunctious, so I think we could get along just fine - especially if we play lots of games together.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Great for other cats (and potentially friendly dogs too)! I love my brother Potato and have no fear in exploring new areas, pets or people.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
