Hi, I’m Maisie.
I am approximately 6 months old Koolie x Kelpie. 🐾
I came into this world as part of an accidental and unwanted litter, and for much of my early life I was left to fend for myself. Because of that, I’m still learning that humans can be safe, kind, and trustworthy. I can be timid when we first meet, but with patience and gentle handling, I slowly begin to relax and let my guard down.

I’m a mix of Koolie and Kelpie, which means I’m thoughtful, observant, and quietly intelligent.
A Koolie breed fact: Koolies are highly intelligent working dogs, known for their problem-solving abilities and strong desire to bond closely with their people.
A Kelpie breed fact: Kelpies are loyal, sensitive, and eager to learn, thriving when given structure, reassurance, and positive guidance.

I haven’t had any domestic training yet, but my foster parents are working hard to teach me all the basics. I’m starting from the beginning and doing my best each day. What I need most is a calm, understanding home that will let me grow at my own pace and show me that the world can be a gentle place.
