Hi there… I’m Tucker 👋
Let me tell you a little about me!
I’m a 2 year old Dachshund x Staffy, weighing in at a very respectable (and very huggable) 10kg. I might be small in size, but don’t let that fool you, my personality is BIG, bold, and full of love! I’ve got those classic short dashy legs paired with an irresistible Staffy smile, and yes… I absolutely know how cute I am and I’m
not afraid to use it 😉
I’m a super happy, playful boy who loves life and everything fun that comes with it. Chasing my ball is one of my favourite games, and if there’s a hose involved, even better! Water play is my absolute weakness! splashing, running, and having a good laugh are right up my alley. I’ve got plenty of energy for playtime, but I’m also great at switching off when it’s time to relax.
When the fun is done, you’ll usually find me curled up as close to my humans as possible. Cuddles are kind of my specialty, and I take my job as a professional snuggle buddy very seriously. I’m incredibly affectionate and love being close to my people, making them feel loved and special is what I do best 🫶🏼
I’ve been told I’m great with kids aged 10+, and I really enjoy being part of the family action. I’d thrive in a home where I can soak up all the attention, as I’d prefer to be the only dog, I just love having my humans all to myself.
The good news? I’m already desexed, microchipped, and registered, so I’m all ready to pack my bags and start my next chapter. All I’m missing is a forever family to call my own.

Tucker is in foster care in Merewether, NSW. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
