About Bahama
Breed Experienced preferred (not required)
Dog Selective (open to meet dogs)
Would do well with dog savvy children
Foodie (will never pass up a treat)
Bahama is a sweet, affectionate girl who is a true ball of love. She adores human company and is happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up all the pats, cuddles, and attention she can get.
This lovely lady loves her food and will absolutely never pass up a treat, making her very motivated when it comes to training and bonding. If snacks are involved, Bahama is all in.
Bahama is brachycephalic, so she’ll need a home that understands her special care needs, including keeping her cool, managing exercise, and supporting her comfort.
She is dog selective, meaning she may be happiest as the only dog or carefully matched with the right canine companion after slow, appropriate introductions.
If you’re looking for a loving, people-focused companion with a big heart and a gentle soul, Bahama is ready for her forever home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C5 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
